Liked: Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice flat area to pitch the tent. Nice setting surrounded with hedge and trees. Just 1 shower which was adequate for me. Paid PS2 for shower. Didn't have to wait for the pleasure. Reasonable priced. Disliked: Could do with proper pot wash area.
Liked: We received a very friendly welcome on our arrival. The owners were very helpful. Nothing was too much of problem. The toilets was always clean. Disliked: The facilities are in need of refurbishment. Only one Ladies toilet and there was always a queue. Always a queue for the shower first thing in the morning. Nowhere to have a wash except for the small sink in the toilets. Phone reception is very limited.
Liked: We absolutely loved our stay. We only stayed for one night but the site was so spacious and peaceful. The owners were both absolutely lovely and came to have a chat with us on a few occasions during our stay. We did arrive a little later on, however because it wasn't busy, the owners said there wasn't any rush to get off in the morning and allowed us to stay as long as we wanted to we were able to go for a walk and come back and slowly pack away. We were able to choose where we wanted to set up our camp and also were allowed to set up two tents on one pitch with no extra cost unlike a lot of other sites. Although we had our own electric extension, we were offered a longer extension if needed so we were able to pitch up anywhere we wanted even if it wasn't close to the lettuce output. The campsite is family friendly with a large field to play football or any other games with the kids. There's toilets and showers on site so although we only got use out of the toilets, the showers are great for longer stays. We spent our night playing football and making food on the bbq before having a lovely and peaceful nights sleep. The location is great and close to shops and other towns with lots of fun things and nice walks for all the family. Overall it is a great place to stay with two very welcoming owners who have made us feel so comfortable during our stay and we will definitely be coming back in the future. Disliked: Nothing
Liked: We stayed in our tailer tent The site was clean and well looked after. The toilet was well stocked and checked every morning The shower was clean The owners were helpful and lovely people We was there for 2 nights for PS40 which is good value. And paid PS5 for electric which lasted the 2 days. Disliked: The only disadvantage was it was next to a busy road but to be fair we was very near the road they had another field which I don't think you would be able to hear it.
Liked: The campsite is lovely, you pick your own pitch which was good as the kids wanted to be near the nets haha. Got a great welcome from the owners/staff, and they said if we'd forgot anything to let them know as they have everything lol. Disliked: nothing
Liked: Beautiful location, well maintained site. Owner met us on arrival very friendly. Excellent for Cadwell Park about a 15 minutes drive. Disliked: No real washing facilities and only one shower ! The weekend we were there it could have done with six. Shame really could be a real lovely site.
