Upscale hall, parkland and gardens, with space for weddings, private parties or corporate events.
Thank you Robert and Charlotte for warmly welcoming us to Holme Pierrepont Hall for a really beautiful wedding day, and for your support in the run-up and on the day. The setting is magical and we valued that we were able to make the day and the space feel our own through the flexibility in choosing our own suppliers/vendors, with Charlotte and Robert helping and advising where needed. The breakfast the next morning also felt special in such a historic setting.
I always enjoy shooting weddings at Holme Pierrepont Hall. There are so many beautiful places to photograph the couple. The courtyard is simply the best space for you and your guests to chat whilst nibbling on canapes and sipping bubbly. The fact that there is a church on the property is such a bonus for those wanting a church wedding.
Went for a plant sale - extremely windy, but brilliant fun. Gardens were included in the entry price. Beautiful Tudor building, and lovely gardens. Spent several hours wandering.
This is usually a wedding venue but we managed to visit it on one of the very rare occasions when it opens to the public. Beautiful house, especially the two medieval rooms at the front and the courtyard with its formal garden. Nice outside gardens as well. Everything looks a bit more shabby than chic but it gives a warm and beloved atmosphere.
A wedding venue based in a tudor building that occasionally through the year is open to visitors, if you are a Historic house member you will get in free. The external gardens were quite muddy and not having the correct footwear I decided to give that a miss, though they looked nice from the window. The church was also shut which was a dissapointment. This left us with the house which was freeflow, there were no volunteers in the rooms and information was on a4 printed paper (could have done with laminating as it looked tatty) unfortunately there were a lot of unanswered questions and you left feeling unfulfilled. It really could do with a better attitude to visitors rather than the half arsed effort that seems to be prevalent currently. There were toilets (not great) the best thing was the garden in the courtyard. There was no cafe , and parking on the grass led one person having to be towed out of the mud. No photos allowed in the building , which is a shame as there are a few nice architectural details. Overall a dissapointing day out and mind the road there as its pot hole central.
We visited the house as part of the spring snowdrop opening. We loved being able to walk the house alone. It's fascinating. We were staying at the nearby Thoresby Hall and really appreciated the connection between the properties in fact it gave a depth of history to Thoresby Hall which is difficult to understand with just Warner Hotel interpretation of events. Holme Pierrepoint Hall is mainly an exclusive wedding venue now. Loved our visit.
