Holmes Park is a scenic green space in the heart of London, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. This charming park features beautifully manicured lawns, vibrant flowerbeds, and mature trees providing shade and shelter. Visitors can stroll along meandering paths, enjoy a picnic on the grass, or take a leisurely boat ride on the serene lake. The park is also home to several sculptures and public art installations, adding an extra layer of cultural interest to this already picturesque setting.
Well maintained park with a cenotaph a children's play area and a football pitch.
Great little park but unfortunately they have removed the swings still have a climbing frame and little slide just no swings.
Nice little park but too many kids smoking weed
Lovely well kept quiet place for families, dogs + anybody wanting to walk around. Love the poppy memorial section.
The best thing about this park (in addition to the football pitch, open grass surfaces, playground apparatus & benches) is the spinning yellow tea-cup and spinning metal stand-on 'twiglet' that with enough pushing can make any child either vomit or exit in such a way as to make any coherent, balaced walking impossible but with the hilarious side-effect of forced circular walking irrespective of the desire for straight line travel plus multiple collapsing due to not being able to place one's feet safely in front of another. Viewing such occurances/behaviour can truly be one of life's simpler, yet hilarious pleasures.
Lovely park. Well kept flower beds. It's a pitty people can't be bothered to walk over to any of the bins provided to place rubish in, instead of the grass!
