Holmside Park, a newly refurbished 50 acre adventure park in Durham. Full of adventure, play and family fun for those 1 yrs+ Featuring indoor and outdoor play with an array of all-weather activities.
Excellent day out for the family. Absolutely loads to do and fairly priced. The whole place was very clean and well planned out. Will definitely be back!
A fine park for kids upto the age of 10. I have kept one star for some improvement. There are lot of indoor activities such as the big slidings, the air filled giant inflatable obstacle course, scating area, table tennis, kids pool table, etc which is all good but there are very few outdoor options really as there are more outdoor options such as slidings, see-saw, etc at some of the parks like the Riverside park at Chester-le-Street and that too free of cost. So I think they should put some more outdoor stuff. Other than that everything seems alright.
My grandchildren loved their day here, they all would love to go back, even the older ones. PS15 each...for the whole day, you'd pay that for one hour in many venues.
I had a good time at the soft play area! The vibrant atmosphere and exciting play structures kept me and my kids entertained for hours. The staff was incredibly helpful and always had a cheerful demeanor, making the experience even more enjoyable. The cafe was good. While the toilet hygiene wasn't the best, the overall fun and positive environment outweighed that downside. We can't wait to come back and play again!
Arrived at the park for opening time bank holiday Monday 6 adults, a toddler under 2 and a 8 and 10 year old and what a brilliant day everyone has had. The dinosaur trail was amazing for the little one and there is plenty to keep all ages entertained. Although the park was busy it didn't feel overcrowded which was a bonus definitely worth a visit and is excellent value for money.
Loved spending the day with the kids having a family day out. Kids loved the foam which was a great idea along with the new foot golf. We also took a walk in the woodland path which was lovely to explore. Will definitely come back again.
