It's small but well laid out and free of charge. They have a donation box which is good to put something into. It's across the road from a free car park and park too. Well worth a visit.
I have just been to Horsforth Village Museum with my family. This was our first time to the museum and we really enjoyed it. It is very well presented, with lots of the local history on display. The staff were really friendly and helpful - they told us a lot of things about the area around our home and recommended some nice walks. We were more than happy to make a donation on the way out and will definitely go again at some point.
Loved it here. Staff very friendly and helpful. My dad really enjoyed his visit. Will do it again soon.

This delightful gem displaying history on the very local scale was enjoyed thoroughly by my parents in their sixties and my son aged three. Entertainment for a rainy Sunday afternoon in Horsforth.
A lovely local museum, had a wonderful time looking at all the history of the items, my daughter Hannah found it interesting, we had a lovely chat with Jean & her husband about the local area of Horsforth, thank you
