Scenic nature park featuring ancient oak trees, hiking paths, a small play area & a cafe.
Took my grandchildren pond dipping, which was well organised, good value for money, friendly engaging staff and fun as well as educational at cost of PS5 for the three of us well worth it. The area is well set out, parking on site and lovely for walks would definitely recommend, even the rain did not spoil it. The cafe was very good too as was the educational zone inside
Another excellent public park in Milton Keynes which is run by the Parks Trust. Great facilities near to the car park. There's a visitor centre, toilets and a cafe run by Grounds. The walkways around the woodland area are very clean and well kept. It's surprisingly not as muddy as we would expect at this time of year but you should be prepared with walking boots or wellies throughout the winter. There's lots of areas for the kids to do some tree climbing and explore. We spent a couple of hours here and would recommend it if you are looking to get outside in the fresh air.
Lovely park with great paths suitable all year round. It was great getting the dog off the lead (as you are allowed to in this park when the birds aren't nesting) however the buggy struggled. Nice cafe in a lovely quiet spot. Free parking.
Great walk within Milton Keynes. Cafe at the car park entrance to the park is a great spot for a bite to eat. Can't wait to go back in summer for the blue bells but in winter this is also a great walk for people of all ages and walking abilities, although be sure to wear wellies if it's wet out
Found this place on my run yesterday. I will be back indeed. This place is lush! Perfect place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. Lovely colours of autumn.
It's great anytime of year but do visit for the carpet of bluebells in spring! Amazing! (Providing you like bluebells)
