Hurst Grange Park is located between Hill Road and Cop Lane in Penwortham and managed by South Ribble Borough Council. The former estate of Hurst Grange Mansion is now an attractive landscape of woodlands, ponds and wildflower meadows. The play area has recently reopened following a full refurbishment and the works to restore the park's historic Coach House are now complete with the Coach House Cafe open daily 10am to 4pm. Works are also due to take place this year to improve park's ponds and parts of the park's footpath network. The park has an active Friends Group who meet on the second Saturday of the month at 10am at the Coach House and carry out a range of improvements in the park and organise an annual programme of events.
Great place to take a walk, walk the dog, take the kids to the park, or just relax. Beautiful surroundings with plenty to keep your little ones entertained.
Small, but well kept park with a good play area and smashing cafe...we'll worth a visit.
Lovely stopping off point on the morning dog walk. Friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Dog friendly.
A super, mid size park with open areas, wooded areas, ponds, a well kept and safe children's play area, plenty of benches. A wonderful cafe that does super food and has loos. Good pathways that are wheelchair friendly, and it's dog safe. ( But requests to keep them on a lead).
Beautiful park, well maintained and has an abundance of wildlife. The playground is great too, lots for the little ones to keep them entertained. The lodge cafe is perfect too, not over priced and food and seating area is lovely.
Visited for the first time today. We went along to the playground with our boys aged 4 and 2 they both loved it. There's is lots to keep them both entertained. Afterwards we headed to the cafe for drinks and icrcreams
