A most informative and enjoyable time learning about local history with Brett & the team, who are very knowledgeable not just about the hut but the wider area. Who knew Bridgend played a key role during WW2 regarding munitions! I'm not going to spill all the details, instead book yourself onto a tour.
Open day 3 times a year, tickets sell out very fast. Well worth the money
Visited Hut 9 on Sunday 14/04/24 with 2 former work colleagues/friends. An amazing experience... Brett's talk was very informative regarding the part Hut 9 and the wider Bridgend area played during world war two. The volunteers were all extremely friendly and very knowledgeable.... and are clearly very passionate about their exhibits and re-enactment. We ended our visit with coffee and cake. Highly recommend a visit........ You won't be disappointed.
Great experience. The talk was super interesting and everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend a visit.
Amazing work done in the preservation of Bridgend history by the Hut 9 group. Brett is a passionate speaker, and he has created a website full of fascinating stories. The open day events are rare and always sold out.
Really enjoyed my visit to this important World War Two prisoner of war camp. There are original examples of war items and reenactment presentations taking place.
