What an awesome afternoon today at the falconry premier experience. Although the weather was unkind to us, it certainly didn't dampen the excitement of seeing these beautiful birds in flight. Purchased for my sons 16th birthday treat,I came along as a spectator. I was so taken aback by the amount of knowledge and passion shown by both Jackie and Emily who introduced us to each bird and went above and beyond to make our afternoon magical. The real pleasure was seeing the birds fly in such beautiful natural countryside. We went into the woods and out onto the fields. It is obvious that great thought and commitment has been put into these experience days. We felt really welcomed and the whole session was relaxed and not rushed. As you can see from the photos, my son enjoyed everything about the experience. Thank you so much for making super memories, we will be back. Jacqz & Tristan x
We came to Icarus Falconry at the weekend to celebrate my partner's 40th birthday with a couple of friends. The staff at Icarus were exceptional! We signed up for experiences to meet Roxy the fox, Norma the Hedgehog, and one of the little owls. We also got to meet several tortoises and snakes, it was a superb day out and we had a blast. The staff were very knowledgeable and eager to make sure that we had a great morning. Definitely a day we won't forget, what a great time!
Entry to Icarus Falconry was included as part of the visit to Holdenby House. Managed to catch the two falconry displays and the animal encounter session. Held some snakes and got to see the birds up close. There is also a small menagerie of British wildlife including slow worms, great crested newts, a hedgehog and a fox. Dave was really passionate about the animals. Enjoyable afternoon out.
Wow. What an amazing day out. Took my mum for her birthday as she loves barn owls. The staff were amazing and incredibly understanding. Mum got to hold owls and falcons, stroke them and take part in flights with them landing on her hand. Would totally recommend anyone going for a visit. Very reasonably priced but should be booked online to guarantee a viewing.
Brilliant Premier Falconry Experience. The setting is so beautiful and historic. The staff were amazing so informative and passionate about their birds. My husband flew a falcon, two owls and a wonderful vulture. Highly recommend.
