We had a great visit to this museum. We got to understand about life in the clink in previous times. The individual accounts of real prisoners we found interesting along with the escapes! Definitely worth a visit
Wow, what a fantastic place. I won't tell you much so as not to spoil it but well worth a visit! Just the right amount of history to make it interesting. So great you can touch and interact so much in there. Plus the assistants throughout are so knowledgeable you should definitely stop and have a chat.
An old Scottish Jail. Not what I expected though. All cells were empty in the newer building with just posters on the wall telling stories of Scotlands prison history. If you didn't read you could cover this visit in 20 minutes. Entry fee should only be PS10.
Very interesting, worth stopping by and having a look. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Recommend the audio tour, its free and gives even more information/ acted scenes around the jail. Loved the thumb screws also Would highly recommend.
Really interesting. Staff were really informative and friendly, if not slightly scary. Well worth the entrance fee . We really appreciated not being locked in for the night . Plus I was given blue light discount
Very interesting and a good little visit. The staff were dressed in uniform of the day and were very interesting and friendly. We think the prisoner figure In the prison cart looks like Richard Madeley on a bad day Thanks to Driver- Carl from Lock & Glen for taking us to this location
