This ancient hillfort dates back to the 2nd century BC, featuring a series of earthworks and ramparts that enclose an area of approximately 20 acres. The fort's defenses include a double bank and ditch system, with the inner bank reaching up to 10 feet high in some areas. The site also contains the remains of several roundhouses, with some showing signs of having been rebuilt multiple times over the centuries.
