Our historic Brighstone venue is not only home to an unmissable collection of pearl jewellery but there are spectacular cliff-top views over the English Channel at every turn. The Pearl Cafe offers the perfect Island breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea using locally sourced Island ingredients and is the ideal spot to relax and look out over the sea with a delicious dish. Please note our cafe closes 30 minutes before the showroom each day.
Wonderful store with a display of top quality pearls. They have a range of pearls for all pockets, and very friendly and experienced staff to help. It was a great experience shopping here. One unique thing is the beautiful sea view you get from the store. This a place to visit for everyone who visit Isle of Wight.
Absolutely stunning place to stop for food. You won't get a better view. The food was lovely too. Great selection and cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We visited on Sunday morning at 10am, their opening time. We were greeted by staff with smiles and friendly faces, we had a quick walk through the shop and admired the views as we went. We decided to visit for breakfast for my husband's birthday. The lady behind the counter was very attentive and I mentioned I require gluten free options. The chef was within earshot and immediately proceeded to advise what he can offer me and also went to check which items were also possibly gluten free and vegetarian. He came back with a full list of what he can offer me and advised he could provide additional eggs, hashbrowns, tomatoes and mushrooms. I ordered the large breakfast and it was amazing! I felt very reassured and well looked after regarding my intolerances. My husband had the usual large full English and he said this was equally as delicious. I had a pot of tea and he had a latte, we also had complimentary fresh orange juice. The portions were also huge! Compliments to the chef and all staff! On our walk out we browsed the Pearl collections and bought some jewellery. We were served by a lovely lady who was very invested in us and had a clear passion for the products sold. She has recently moved to the island (within last few years) thank you for your delightful service. An all round excellent visit and something I would recommend everyone do during their time on IOW. The parking was also free, and there were beautiful views across the sea.
Lovely place. Nice views of the sea. Food looks local and nice. Seem to cater for allergies. Dog friendly. Good toilets. Disabled toilet and child changing toilet. Lovely jewellery. Very nice staff. Interesting history and information about pearls and famous items worn by known figures. Recommended for a good day out although children might find it boring. Good parking including disabled parking.
Fancy something different? Visit Isle of Perl. The prices are decent and you can choose from a variety of different styles and materials that enhance the quality of the pearls. A little treat for that special someone. The best part is that you can choose/buy an oyster that has a pretty pearl inside and use it to make your own beautiful jewellery . PS: If you go in the back garden the see views are breathtaking
Had a lovely afternoon tea in the cafe with our mums (88 and 85 years old) and the shop and cafe had plenty of seats for the mums to rest their legs. The pearl jewellery was very reasonably priced and I came away with a beautiful bracelet for just PS45. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone.
