Very nice place. Only open on Sundays. 1300 to 1700 I think. The house is nice. Free entry. It's only a couple of rooms, but they're set out like they would have been back in the day. A few things for the kids to play with and a book section. The gardens are tranquil and ornate. Numerous picnic tables around the lawns. It would be a decent place to bring a picnic and just chill for a while. There are toilets out the back and a small tearoom with hot drinks. Four stars for two negative points: parking can be difficult on site. Maybe you're going to end up putting the car on a verge. The second negative is that the train track is so close that every now and then you get a train blast past.
