Popped in on the off chance of getting a table. The staff were excellent and found one in the front room. Not overly hungry but fancied something light with a pint. The Dart's Farm burger and a pint of draft Guinness certainly did the job.

Great food / pub, service was excellent.

Treated by my wife for a birthday lunch this week. Ate in the restaurant mid week. As good a meal as we have had anywhere. Both Venison and duck as mains were delicious. Reasonably priced given the high standard. . PS120 for 2 of us with 3 courses including drinks. Service was very good and attentive with atmosphere perfect for a special occasion. We will be back.

We went for a Sunday roast and this was perhaps the best roast I've had in many years. The meat was cooked to perfection, there was a good selection of vegetables that still had crunch to them and the presentation was fantastic. On top of that the service was exceptional! I was too full for dessert but the pork terrine starter I had was so yummy. The loos were clean, and for me the 80s music was an absolute winner, but perhaps that wouldn't be everyone's choice. I highly recommend this pub, and if I'm ever within 20 miles of the place I'll be back.

We come here as often as we can as the food and staff are excellent. Yesterday we tried the tasting menu with wine as a change and we were really happy. It was still good size portions and the pairing of wine excellent. The staff explained each course and wine so a really great experience. The food is always amazing and staff really friendly. This is one of my favourite places to eat.

Haven't been here for a while but my kids remembered the Jack does THE best french fries in the world! So kids menu for them with fries. Yep, their fries are still fantastic. I had pork belly from the specials menu and my word.. I've had some great pork belly but this was another level. Superb.
