This is the Museum of Scotland's first Formula One World Champion, Jim Clark - one of the greatest racing drivers of all time!
Fantastic museum to a true motorsport great. It's small but packed with interesting memorabilia, photos and trophies. Lots of trophies! There is a nice display area for three cars and a shop. Enough for the kids to do too with a trail, scalextic and Lego. And for big or little kids a historic racing simulator available for a small additional charge. Well worth a visit.
Wonderful to see and hear all about Jim Clark and his undoubted skill at driving. The Museum is very well laid out with many documentaries available to watch and listen to. So many trophies to see and are all labelled from where they were won. Entrance gets you unlimited visits for a year which is great if ever returning. Highly recommended if you have an interest in any form of Motorsport.
Loved this little museum, a must visit for any avid motorsport enthusiasts. A really friendly welcome and the museum itself is very modern and child friendly. They have a scalextric for the kids to use.
Brilliantly priced museum. The cars are great and well preserved. Most of his trophies are here, and the idea of interactive exhibits is really good and intuitive. Spend a few hours here to learn about this amazing driver.
A must for Motor Racing fans! A well laid out modern facility to celebrate the life of a true sporting icon. Reasonably priced with a mixture of physical, digital and interactive exhibits. Friendly staff, good facilities. Spend 60-90 minutes & learn about this Scottish & International hero.
A fantastic wee museum dedicated to the life and career of a Borders legend. I have to admit that I didn't know much about Jim Clark before visiting here, but now I'm aware of how much he achieved in his tragically short lifetime. I especially liked the old rotary telephone listening post - an excellent idea.
