Visited strathhaven for the air balloon festival which was really good plenty of stalls and food and lots too do for children and adults like animal experiences ,rides etc .will go again. Also had a walk around strathhaven it's a nice place.
Model Engineering at its best with the miniature railway running live steam. Good for young kids to have a ride. Great wee well used park with putting, tennis and a small boating lake plus a large play area. Visited today 01/03/2022 and the boating pond which was emptied last year due to blossom was being re filled at last. Noticed the lovely newish carved wood birds and animals.
This was such a great experience to see all this colourful hot air balloons. There was plenty attractions for kinds and food trucks too. Highly recommended

Attended the hot air balloon festival. Was very enjoyable - traffic becomes extremely congested so get there early.
