Lovely peaceful walk in the rain. Great paths if you don't stray up the steep steps and walk along the top of the bank which I did with my two dogs. Very scary in the rain as slippy muddy slim pathway and a sheer drop to the side but beautiful
I use this trail as a shortcut from my house to the shops ( saving 4 minutes or so) and to and from the Yak and Yeti. Parts of it can be muddy after rain
A great place for a peaceful walk by the burn. It has been 50 years since I played in the den. And since then it has changed from a wild area into a lovely place to stroll around and maybe take a wee picnic. Well trodden and wide walkways make it pleasant area for walkers with or without dogs and occasional cyclists. There are a few areas that are of historical interest and whispered secrets of caves and smugglers. A great place for kids but keep them safe near the water please.
It's a nice walk on relatively level terrain, so quite easy going. It is perhaps a bit "linear" though, in that there's pretty much a single route so you end up walking back the same way you came. A few bits look like they could get a bit boggy after heavy rain, but it was fine when we visited.
Personally I love the place my childhood playground but has been left to the elements in recent years still a great walk tho ,, use to have a Cople of other routes but now only the main pathway is usable
Great place to explore by foot or bike , a genuine underrated place to visit with connecting walks down to Leven and beyond .
