Visited yesterday, and was such a great experience! The keepers were really professional and friendly. We were able to spend 1-1 time with the owls and were also able to fly them. Also had an amazing time feeding the Meerkats. Would I do this again- YES!. Just want to say a big thank you to the keepers for making our experience lovely. All animals are well looked after and you can really tell that the keepers are passionate about what they do.
I bought the Owl experience for my daughters birthday and it was excellent. Charlotte was very knowledgeable and helpful. We learnt a lot and greatly enjoyed holding and flying the owls. Being surrounded by the other birds of prey ( hawks, buzzards and a falcon) who were sunning themselves on perches really added to the whole experience. My daughter was so thrilled by the whole thing.
We had an owl experience with Kent Owl Academy and it was absolutely amazing! What a fantastic experience - we got to handle lots of owls for as long as we wanted to and even got to fly an owl as well which was magical. Nick was super knowledgeable, friendly and professional. It was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend. I want to do it again! Thank you!!!
Many thanks to Ed and Nick for an amazing experience with the owls. We got to know 3 different owls - we were provided leather gloves, they flew to us and later perched on our left arm for about 10 mins each. Very cool and totally safe. There were also 4 birds of prey that were secured to their perches nearby that were gorgeous to observe. We learned so much about owls and highly recommend the owl experience if you're in the area.
Absolutely amazing! The experience was unforgettable, loved flying the owls and meeting all the animals. My niece was brought around by Molly and Sabian; they were both incredible with the birds and reptiles and their knowledge with all of the animals made it seem even more of a personal encounter. All of the volunteers are so lovely, definitely recommend for all ages.
Had the owl and meerkat experience which was brilliant thanks to a warm welcome from Charlotte and excellent session with Molly who was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Molly's enthusiasm and care for all creatures is impressive and we would definitely recommend this experience we were in quiet woodland behind the owlery
