This 14-acre park features a large playground, skate park, and sports facilities, including a football pitch, tennis courts, and a bowling green. The park also has a café, walking trails, and a variety of plant and tree species.
Great park for toddlers to play in. There is a separate secure and safe section for them to play in that is gated. There's also another section that has swings, slide, see saw and climbing frame. Made for older kids but you can still take your toddler there for a play. Surrounded by large grass areas, you could take a ball and go have a kick around in a vast amount of space. Free car park at the entrance too. We drive here specifically from 10/15 mins away as we enjoy the area!
Nice, large park for kids to play and grown-ups to enjoy the vegetation and scenery. Not a lot of benches, most benches are barely wheelchair accessible. One large climb in the main path which takes a lot of strength if you are pushing a heavy individual. Great area for small kids, big football area, some more equipment spread out over a large field. Not much shadow.
Nice little play park for young children.
Great Park, not as bust as others as it's on the outskirts of Garstang. Has separate play areas for toddlers and bigger children, a football pitch with goals, outdoors exercise equipment and sensory gardens. A truly fantastic park.
Great park. It has a sensory garden, a little bit of a community veg plot, a wildlife garden as well as a parks for older children & toddlers. The park also has a football pitch, basketball area and a fitness trail. The only down side is there are no toilets there.
Lovely little park with exercise equipment, though when we visited someone had been prior and run muddy footprints all over where you would sit or lean against the equipment. Some nice areas to sit in the sun, especially on a sunny evening with a glass of wine. Shame dogs have to be on a lead, but all in all a bit of a hidden gem that's easy to drive past and overlook.
