This scenic viewpoint offers breathtaking views of the Kessock Bridge, a modern cable-stayed bridge that spans the Firth of Clyde in Scotland. The bridge's sleek, silver design and dramatic arches make for a striking visual contrast against the surrounding green hills and blue waters. On a clear day, visitors can take in the panoramic views of the Clyde estuary, the nearby town of Dumbarton, and the distant Scottish Highlands. The viewpoint is surrounded by lush greenery, providing a peaceful atmosphere for those who want to stop, take a deep breath, and soak in the natural beauty of the area.
Car park road a bit pot holey but beautiful place
Well looked after car park area and footpaths. Shorter and longer walk routes available. Lovely view across the waters to Inverness, Kessock Bridge and harbour.
Great place , randomly found it . Did lunch between the pine forest . Then went on a lovely trail / walk . Great views . Plenty parking .
Pretty nice place to hike and have a good view of River and bridge, so peaceful.
The Directions on google maps are wrong you must go to the Ord Hill Car park and walk round the forestry track to find the Viewpoint. You cannot not drive directly to the viewpoint and the road that google takes you on is a private farm road which leads to fields.
Totally wrong place, end up in a scene from the Deliverance
Good for kids
