You have to enter in small groups, and I am grateful that a very friendly member of the staff told us the story of the house and the collection in a very engaging way. The entry price totally worths it. Super recommendable.

Limited space for handbags, so leave bags at home where possible, as you aren't able to take them into the house with you. The staff were kind, and informative.

Free entry for under 25 and CAM students as well as some other discounts too. Cafe looks nice too although we didnt visit. Gift shop lovely not overpriced, I always like to get a postcard to remember it by.
Kettle's Yard is truly unique: a home planned by Jim and Helen Ede as a welcoming space for mid-twentieth century art (Moore, Nicolson, Hepworth and Gaudier-Brzeska all feature), and a confluence of human warmth, aesthetic beauty, and an indefinable but very real spiritual quality. Founded in the 1950s, it has been extensively upgraded in recent years in a way that leaves the original space untouched while supporting it beautifully with a well-planned little shop, a separate contemporary gallery, an excellent cafe, and an innovative educational space. If I could give it six or seven stars, I would!
A special cottage of curiosities thoughtfully curated. Loved the experience of exploring the space and being encouraged to sit on the furniture and take in the surroundings. If you're in Cambridge and looking for something to do, I'd recommend! Book tickets in advance, if you can.
