Airy, historical greenhouse in the Glasgow Botanic Gardens featuring plants from around the world.
Great place to visit in Glasgow if you love plants. They have very rare and exotic plants on display. The entry to this place is absolutely free. Very near to the center of Glasgow. Highly recommended. Beautiful glasshouse.
This is a part of the Glasgow Botanical garden. It is very scientific and has a long history. There are many plants in the green house and placards which tell the history. It is certainly worth visiting when in Glasgow. Especially the section on pitcher plants is unique.
A great place for a rainy day you can feel like in Africa
Really interesting place to pass a bit of time in the winter rain. So close to everything else and the hotel we were staying at. I can imagine is even better in summer. Was free to go in, just make a donation.
I haven't been here since I was a kid, but the magic was still there. watching people draw different types of plant, having dates, catching up with friends, and entertaining their kids all while learning about tropical plants and the influence of Mr Kibble was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend
