The centre offers daily flying demonstrations, allowing guests to witness the birds' impressive aerial abilities and agility. Interactive activities and talks are also available, providing a unique opportunity to engage with the birds and their handlers. The scenic surroundings of the Northumberland countryside add to the attraction's charm, making it a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and families alike.
Booked an owl experience for my daughter and our day was amazing from start to finish. Shane and Ben were fantastic and we all had a great time. Wide variety of birds, learnt loads, adopted an owl to show our support for the great work they are doing. The flying displays were very interactive and the weather held ! I cant recommend this place enough and i hope we get to go back soon.
Brilliant day out here, such a great experience being able to get so up close and personal with the stunning birds at the centre. 2 very informative talks and displays included in the cost of the ticket. Worth attending both talks as they are of different birds and allow you to see some different types of birds in flight and learn more about them. Definitely recommend, good value for money, friendly, helpful staff.
Excellent experience for our scouts. All the staff were very helpful in answering all the questions they had. The guys made sure all who wanted to had a go at holding the birds. Very educational experience. Thank you.
Perfect on a sunny day. Arrived around 11am on a Saturday. Plenty parking spaces, PS5 for the full day. Toilet facilities were immaculate. Walked the Bullcrag 10k route. Was a lovely walk. Wasn't busy at all. Didn't have the kids but the park looked good. Will go back.
Great little place with good friendly staff. Great selection of Birds of Prey. Flying demonstrations are weather dependent and at 13:30hrs and 15:00hrs but once you buy a ticket you can go in and out for the rest of the day. The kids loved getting up close with the birds.
This is a lovely little place with knowledgeable friendly staff. The bird display is at 2 pm, so if I was to go again, then I'd aim for an hour/ half an hour before to look around and settle in for the display! 1 disabled bay, which is at a bit of an odd angle and the parking area outside the centre is small, but there is lots of parking on the site. It may be worth noting that your reg plate is taken on entry and it's paid parking for all. There is a scan code to pay near the pay here areas! It is on an incline, some parts more so than others, so if you're on walking aids or in a wheelchair then you may want someone to help. We went down to the lake to sit at the picnic benches to enjoy the weather and view whilst we had our packed lunch after our visit to birds of prey centre. The birds also joined us, which was delightful The area is beautiful and well worth a visit, lots of places to stop and peruse.
