This 150-acre park features a variety of landscapes, including woodland, grassland, and wetlands, with several walking trails and a lake. The park is home to a wide range of wildlife, including birds, bats, and insects, and offers scenic views and picnic areas. Visitors can explore the park's many features, including a sensory garden, a community orchard, and a children's play area.
Country park in Carterton, Oxfordshire. Fresh and vibrant with lots of places to walk the dog around the park. In the playground is an adventure play ground with zip line and climbing frames, in floor trampolines, slides, swings etc. when you walk around the park you can find a pair of steel horses. There are toilets available in the car park at a cost of 20p (coins only) I believe someone was having difficulty with a door as the coin jammed but they managed to retrieve it. The toilets were clean inside. All in all a great little place to visit for the dog to blow off steam and the kids
The play area equipment has all been refurbished and looks great. My kids love swings and there are really good ones there. A really nice big space. On a nice sunny day sand pit feels like you're on beach new tablets with benches for picnics. Clean toilets with a small charge. Large car park.
Lovely country walk, great for dogs.. the park is being revamped and looking great
Great little walk, loved the giant horse statues. Also had a good playground for kids and seating area. Currently doing up the carpark but plenty of parking available.
Such a fantastic park and walk. Sand pit and little play diggers. Shame the main climbing structure is closed but mine was more than occupied with everything else. Small carpark.
Wonderful place to spend the afternoon with children of mixed ages. Ideal for picnics and lots of playing. Needs a bit more shelter for hot days like today. Plenty of parking. Disappointing to (scramble for and) pay 20p for toilets only to find no toilet paper in the cubicle
