Former estate featuring walking trails with coastal views & a quaint cafe in a greenhouse.
Unusual park that's an ideal place to walk the dog. Plenty of open space and some wooded areas where the local green parakeets like to sit in the trees and make themselves heard. The very attractive Italianate glasshouse houses a lovely cafe with good food, friendly service and outdoor seating in the picturesque garden.
A peaceful, pristine and perfect park with a cycle lane running through to connect cyclists to the Viking coastal trail. Dog friendly with an epic children's playground.
Beautiful place to walk with your dog. Lovely to walk through any time of the year. They have just planted some new young trees. Nice having woods and the beach either side when you walk through. Dumpton Gap, a dog friendly beach all year and the other side is Winterstoke Gardens, East cliff of Ramsgate has lovely steps down to the beach. Both have beautiful views. There is also a great little cafe that does the best ice cream with lots of variety toppings, homemade cakes, toasties, etc at very good prices. We sometimes stop and treat ourselves to an ice cream when we walk with our dog, he loves ice cream too lol. You can also get to the Italianate Glasshouse from the park which is worth a visit. There is a sectioned off child's playground in the park too which always looks busy with happy children playing. There is also a toilet block near the cafe.
Beautiful park on cliff top that makes a good route to walk through when walking from Broadstairs to Ramsgate or visa versa. Lovely cafe to have drinks, snacks, and ices but not to miss the proprieters' homemade cakes . This spot is a favourite with dog owners so it can be busy with much going on, lol.
Lovely park area very well maintained.
Just adore this park lots of changes since I was small child many , many years ago . Use your imagination and have a fantastic time whilst your in the park . You cannot get bored walking through King George park. Decided to take a walk through King George Park this morning with my husband and grandson . Had a lovely relaxing stroll watching the squirrels jumping from tree to and the birds . We played a game of football while park was not busy . Grandson wanted an ice cream but unfortunately they do not take card due to poor internet reception and we do not carry cash with us .
