Kippilaw is a large Mansion House in a secluded location with beautiful gardens & grounds , surrounded by ancient woodland . Kippilaw is family owned and is available for exclusive use hire . Kippilaw has 15 bedrooms and can sleep up to 40 guests . Kippilaw has additional function suite with a large Ballroom & Bar that can be added for celebrations , such as wedding or parties and can seat 100+ guests . Kippilaw is also hired for retreats and corporate functions . Full service can be added .
Kippilaw House was the perfect venue for our wedding (July 2024). The venue itself is gorgeous and so full of character, while also being so comfortable and homely. There's so much space for getting ready, having a dance floor, the verandah for some fresh air, and lots of comfy lounge spaces to relax by the fire. The staff are so friendly and helpful - they made everything feel so easy for us on the day and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The food was also excellent and nobody went home hungry! They were great about catering for any dietary requirements and we had so many comments about how delicious the food was. We had the most magical wedding weekend at Kippilaw. Several guests are thinking of Kippilaw for other events now, after having such a great time at the wedding. I can't rave enough about how perfect everything was and how much we enjoyed everything.
Recently had our wedding here and it was absolutely fantastic. Lil and Rachel worked with us to plan an amazing experience. Thanks to the hot weather, we were able to get married outside and it was beautiful. My partner and I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day, absolutely everything was handled for us. Food was delicious with delicious options for all dietary requirements. We actually had a full vegetarian menu and it was delicious. So many options to pick from as opposed to just adding veggie options as an afterthought. The sharing pavlova also went down a treat with everyone (including those who had to have dairy free options!). We had lots of freedom and flexibility to decorate and design our day too Thanks again to all!

We got married at Kippilaw House and had the best time ever. Rachel was the best, she was super helpful the whole time and made us feel very comfortable. We didn't feel any pressure to do anything we didn't want to as we skipped a lot of traditional things that didn't match with who we are. They were amazing at changing the menu for some of the guest with allergies. The food was lovely and everybody enjoyed it. It was really nice to stay overnight with our friends and family, it made our wedding really special. If you want a special place for your wedding ceremony we HIGHLY recommend the ancient tree. It was magical.
