This 150-acre park in Fareham, Hampshire, features a mix of woodland, grassland, and wetland habitats, with several walking trails, including the Knowle Way, a 2-mile route around the park's perimeter. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, bats, and insects, and offers scenic views of the surrounding countryside. Visitors can explore the park's many features, including a pond, a stream, and several sculptures and public art installations. The park also has a café, a children's play area, and picnic facilities, making it a popular destination for families and nature lovers.
Absolutely lovely place. Well designed, thoughtful areas. Nice little cafe, with friendly staff. Also nice to see that dogs off leads have designated areas. Our grandchildren really enjoyed it. One minor criticism....only two little swings in the baby and toddler section; there was a queue for the baby swing! Could do with a couple more. However, it's a fantastic space for adults and kids to enjoy. Well done Knowle Park Trust.
This place had only been open for a few months and it's fabulous ! Stop at the coffee cabin for some great tasting coffee and a sneaky cake. There are 2 parks, one for younger and one for older children. There's a lovely lake and spectacular views from the top of the grass amphitheater. Keep your eye on this place. It's truly wonderful.
Just opened May 2023. Fantastic! Absolutely fantastic for the family to enjoy a day out with beautiful views, nice walk, kids playground, seats for all and ice cream from the local Moooh Ice Cream. Below scores are out of 10 Atmosphere 10 Presentation 10 Location 10 [P] Parking: Lots of paid parking available Overall 10
Great park. Wildlife everywhere. Coffee wagon with seats and areas to just relax. Well done Cranleigh.
This would be an excellent place to visit within Cranleigh, has ponds with Geese (including currently newborn) large play area for children, excellent area for walks including for people with disabilities as nice & flat. Car parking for about 60 cars including disabled bays & Electric hook up bays. Reasonable toilet facilities, Coffee Bar & ice cream bar. The only downside to my visit was an older lady (estimated age 60+) who approached my party which included a disabled child and said don't talk to or feed the ducks it encourages bad people to visit after which she claimed she knows what she was talking about as she was a trustee - no identification and refused name so be warned
A beautiful place, thoughtfully created and perfect for families with young children (or older relatives with limited mobility) as the paths are so spacious and flat. Highly recommended
