A picturesque spot in London's Grosvenor Gardens, Kodak Corner is a small, tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. This charming corner is adorned with vibrant flowers, lush greenery, and a beautiful fountain, creating a serene atmosphere that invites relaxation and contemplation.
Such a beautiful viewpoint overlooking Carlingford Lough. Amazing views and very easy hike to do. If you're in the area, make sure to visit the Kodak Corner.
Great views - Beautiful area Some steep hill walking but well worth it.
Pretty decent viewpoint on a bend in the trail. Pleasant copse of tress to look out from and some decent stone slabs to sit on. Good place for a food break mid hike but can be crowded. Nice views but you will take you breath home with you. A go to spot for instagram pics.
Fabulous walk from upper carpark past Cloch Mor (Big Stone) to one of the best vista views in Northern Ireland. The colourful flowering heather (in September) adds to the beauty. A bit steep for a short section on the wide gravel path heading towards the stone, but otherwise an easy walk. Trail route can be a bit confusing immediately past Cloch Mor, particularly as some of the signage indicates bicycles only. (Hikers were the only people along the trail when we visited and no sign of a non-bike trail to Kodak Corner.) Route to Kodak Corner goes through a magical woodland. The Corner itself has flat rocks for seating, but not a large area. Not busy when we visited early afternoon midweek in late September.
This place was worth the drive! It is a bit advanced for kids but we muscled through and took in a breathtaking view at Kodak Corner. Once you make the summit the walk down through the forest is like walking in a movie. You'll enjoy this one if you like a challenge. Enjoy!
Roughly half an hour walk from the car park. Just follow the instructions on the path otherwise you could lose the path at some point. Nice place to enjoy the sunset as well. Walking through the woods is what I loved the most
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
