Many wonderful rides with the family. Great place to teach young riders basic mountain biking skills. Surrounded by nature, too, we were greeted by a couple of deer one morning. Well done, Sheffield for investing in such a beautiful place for locals to ride. Hopefully this project could inspire other councils.
Couple of great tracks, both very different from each other offering a decent challenge and well looked after. Both long enough to get a flow going and keep repeating. Shame I don't live near here or I would be back much more often!
Fun place to play on your MTB. The trails are decent and well looked after though not particularly difficult. I looked at some videos before going and they didn't do the place justice, glad I went. It's a great place to start a ride from too as a warm up we did the 2 trails before seeing of to Stanage Edge. Free parking there too!
Stunning! Amazing scenery and perfect for an adventure in the countryside with your MTB. Trails are in great condition and perfect for a quick zoom around. Then if your feeling more adventurous head out the gates and up into the peaks!
Did the ride on a Friday afternoon. Only saw a couple of others out. Able to do the trails on a gravel bike and had a great time. Great place to learn how to ride the trails and have fun.
Great mountain bike spot - Blue Steel will have you grinning from ear to ear. The faster you go, the harder it gets. Cooking on Gas will have your heart and legs pumped by the end, but is great for dialling in techniques. Parking here is a great place to start and finish a loop out into the peaks, with a pub just past the car park. The woods and moors are a great place for dogs, walkers, runners, horses and motos on houndkirk pass. Watch out for the peaty black bogs if you're walking puppers on the moors!!
