Our beautiful gallery situated in Port Sunlight is home to an internationally renowned collection of fine & decorative art including Pre-Raphaelite paintings, Wedgwood jasperware, Chinese ceramics, sculpture and 18th century furniture.
A stunning collection in a beautiful building. A PS5 donation felt very reasonable and was glad to do it. The staff are really friendly and engaging and there are lockers for storing your rucksack etc, which was perfect for me. It wasn't too busy but the cafe seemed to be downstairs. Loved the layout and collection a lot.
Fabulous visit to this unique village. Art Gallery is a must. Cafe is lovely, cakes delicious and coffee hot. Love the penny slots on the toilet doors.
This is such a lovely place. I've been several times and really enjoy the calm, beauty, varied cultural artefacts, fascinating history - not only of the Lever family, but of the local area. Last time I really loved the exhibition of landscapes by female artists over the years.
At the grade ll listed Port Sunlight village, built early 1900's for the factory workers and since beautifully preserved and housing the incredible Lady Lever art gallery with it's wonderful collection and lovely setting.
Incredibly impressed. Highly recommend. Free museum with beautiful art in a impressive building. Absolutely loved it. All staff lovely. Cafe worth a visit, had a delicious lunch and very reasonable price!
