63-acre grassy area with a BMX track, circular walking paths & children's play equipment.
A small but nice walk. Various routes to choose from. Not far from the M4 so access is easy. Enough parking too. A skate and bike park for the kids or the adventurous.
Large green space with paths down to the canal. See people having a wonder, cycling through, walking their dogs and flying kites. Convenient free car parking with seasonal opening times. Not tried it but the skate park looks pretty good.
My friend and I were returning from Southall one afternoon and wanted to have a country walk and I saw this on the map. The park was huge, well trailed, well kept. It was relaxing as the day was beautiful as well. We had a wonderful time here. No issues find street parking on the rear side of the park and quick access to the park.
This park is not properly managed, shame on hillingdon council, three in this car smoking drugs, it would seem that the people using this park don't care for it and hillingdon council don't monitor it, I witnessed a couple with a young child having a picnic yesterday and when I visited today all there picnic rubbish was left behind, shame on them, the car par full of rubbish, some young mug has been doing donuts in the car park, there's a camera on the carpark, what is the council doing to curb this antisocial behaviour, nothing it would seem, shame.
It's a surprisingly nice common/park area. The biggest issue are that the bins are usually full to overflowing and rubbish is left everywhere. Hardly the places fault, but the people that use it. The paths are nice and gravel, there are benches, play area, outdoor gym equipment, bmx track and skate park. Something for nearly everyone... the park is dog-friendly with bins at a few points around the park. There are no toilets/restrooms. There is no designated picnic area, but lots of grass to throw a blanket down on.
The park is lovely, however Hillingdon council apparently have a ZERO tolerance for anti-social behaviour so sitting in your car with the engine running for 2 minutes or more you'll get a PS100 ticket, which I recieved as I had started my car and was setting my sat nav, I was blocked by the second enforcement officer while I was given a ticket. There aren't any signs ANYWHERE within the carpark stating ANY of the restrictions other than using the carpark for driving lessons, see attached pic
