A tranquil and picturesque lake pier situated in the heart of the United Kingdom, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation and recreation.
Nice and peaceful, unfortunately, the view is spoilt by all the campers that hide it from sight. So, will need to have a walk about to see anything
Visited today for the first time in 10 years. Shame that the pier is fenced off although there were people on it somehow. Cheap parking, toilets and ice-cream van. What more can you need! Don't tell anyone else about it though!
Great little beach and very popular well worth a visit. BUT MOTORHOMES AVIOD THE LOW BRIDGE!!! go the other way around.
Absolutely beautiful place. Came here to capture a sunset and wasn't disappointed. I took a photograph for a couple sat on the pier. I really hope they like it as they were a very polite and friendly young pair. Thank you Poole/Dorset for a wonderful welcome.
Lake Pier is the true hidden gem in Poole! A beautiful long beach with water that doesn't go deeper than a few feet (when tides fully in) for well over a hundred metres from shore so ideal for children to play.... It IS DEEP around the pier though so beware. Also a perfect place for watersports and a nice trip is across the water to the beach at Arne. Parking charges during the day but free in the evening, after 6pm I believe. If you haven't been, go because you won't regret it
Absolutely lovely beach, dog friendly all year round. Beautiful sunsets can be seen from here. Toilets are available in carpark, too .
