Beautiful quiet place to walk. Lovely path through the woods on one side and moorland track on the other. Views as far as the eye can see, well worth a visit.

This has got to be one of best circular's yet, langsett reservoir in all it's beauty, weather was good today. At the end of the route you've got a choice of a cafe or a pub, I chose the pub, friendly staff and it's dog friendly.
The hike we did was 6.2km it was enjoyable with amazing views but could be quite challenging in less fair weather and for those that are not as able underfoot. The terrain was very hilly. I recommend going on a warm day with a clear sky and a soft breeze to get the best experience.
Fantastic walk. What a way to welcome in the new year 2024 great views will be even more enjoyable in the warmer weather.
Great walk, just a nice distance and with a couple of inclines to make you feel like you've had a decent walk. Unlike other local reservoir walks, one side is away from the shore and up on moorland- I like the variety this adds and you also get some good views from the top. Free parking, plus a nice pub or Bank View cafe at the end make this a great walk. It does get very busy at weekends and if the weather is nice, but it can be nice and peaceful midweek.
