Great little spot tucked away behind the buildings at the harbour. The birds get excited to see visitors so be sure to bring them some tin corn, duck pellets or swan food. Please DO NOT feed them bread Please also keep your dogs on leash and only take them there if they will not chase the birds. Thank you
Beautiful location, lots of birds and lovely view across Langstone harbour. Lovely pubs nearby too.
Went on a Sunday evening. A little bit confused about the parking. Someone helped me with this. Yourl can either park the car under the bridge. Or if three is space available innthe nearby lanes. You need to walk to the pond. Really nice view off you go. Gives the feeling of a hiking. Kids will enjoy it. You can find the pond near the old Mill.
I visit here regularly at different times of the year and it's always beautiful and peaceful it does get popular at times particularly in the good weather but I've always found this doesn't impaire the enjoyment of visiting. My photos show The Royal Oak public house and The Mill. The Mill Pond is located behind The Mill.
Great place to have a relaxing waterside walk. Free parking at the Ship Inn, and perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking as there is a launching ramp
Pleasant small managed wildlife area. Popular with small children (and parents). Watch the ducks and swans ducking a d diving for food. Good coastal walks depending on weather and tide
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
