Lappa Valley is the only attraction in Cornwall that transports families on an exciting nostalgic train ride into a secret world of traditional fun and family adventures. Children will delight in the thrill of trains and boats, explore nature, let off steam in our adventure play areas before refuelling at our cafe. Based in 35 acres of beautiful Cornish woodland, travel into the park on one of our many beautiful miniature steam engines. Our award-winning park is fun for all generations of the family - with activities including our adventure golf, pedal cars, toddlers' maze, play areas, wildlife walks, swan pedalos on the boating lake and two further railways to explore. Visit The Engine Shed, home to our indoor soft play area and cafe.
Excellent place to bring children. Great experience for children. Very well set up and perfect for a family day out. If the weather isn't to favorable there is and indoor play area. Mini golf, Swan rides as well as a number of trains rides. All staff are very friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. Thank you Few play and picnic areas lots to keep you entertained. Really enjoyed our visit
Loved this place! Highly recommend if you're travelling with young children. We were an all adult group and still had fun! Well worth the month as activities onsite were all included in price. Food was reasonably priced and very nice! Staff were very friendly, approachable and accommodating for my elderly parents. Really recommend! You can tell the money from tickets directly goes back into the park! Multiple train rides too!
Trains from the word go. A lovely train ride takes you from the ticket office and into the park which was fab. The park itself is small making it very easy to get around and has a lake where you can use the swan pedalos. A couple of train rides in the park take you to a nice picnic area , which you can also reach via a woodland walk, although not suitable for mobility scooters or prams etc. The cafe has a huge soft play in it too
Absolutely unbelievable place. My wife and I took our 2 year old daughter for a day out. We didn't manage to get round the whole site as there is just so much to do. It cost us a grand total of PS72, amazingly that included our entry, lunch, a round of ice cream and a cuddly toy. Couldn't recommend highly enough
It is paradise for kids and for anyone who enjoys train rides or trains or just want fun day out. From the beginning the train takes from the ticket office to the valley, it is amazingly build, then you have opportunity to go on two trains rides (red) with amazing driver who is extremely friendly and fun. The driver also lets you to sit in the cabin for photos. My son is obsessed with trains so he was very happy. There is another train (purple train) that takes you to the picnic area, it runs every 45 minutes but we didn't have chance to catch it because we were busy with other activities. There is playgrounds for young babies and kids, and a lot of picnic spaces and coffee shop. There is also a room where you can read the history of the place and how it was built. I was very fascinated by the story and seeing pictures from old days. You can see the original train there and both of my kids had fun playing with it. There is also mini golf, jumping bouncers and huge soft play in the restaurant area. You can enjoy your lunch and watch kids play. Very smart. Food was average but not expensive. Toilets are clean and there is kids seat in each of them. Everyone is extremely friendly. Overall we loved our trip there and it was highlight for all of us for our holidays in Cornwall. We definitely will be back next year.
