Lee Valley Animal Adventure Park is the perfect day out for kids from London, Hertfordshire and Essex. Visit the marvellous meerkats and wonderful wallabies! Wander along a winding Wallaby Walkthrough, to get up close to the adorable animals and take a peek through the viewing windows into their amazing enclosures. As fun as it is educational, kids will love meeting and learning about some fabulous furry friends. They can also check out exotic critters and unearth fascinating facts about where they come from. Families will love exploring the new brand-new crazy golf and adventure play areas - not forgetting the other amazing activities on offer, too! Kids can bounce around on the giant inflatable pillow, get dizzy on the fairground rides
We visited Lee Valey Farm on a Saturday morning and there were 5-6 people about . Ice cream shop some attractions do not start at 10 but later. Quite a few pens are empty and outgrown with vegetation which doesn't make it very pleasant to look at. They have a small selection of animals and a couple of rides for kids. They have a play area which my son enjoyed. Overall it's worth visiting once to see how it is, but it has way more potential that it currently presents.
I took my 23 month old daughter here for the Toddler Festival and it was certainly not what I expected. The chairs we sat on were dirty I felt uncomfortable sitting there. But most importantly there weren't many activities and there was certainly no toddler characters or shows. There were two bouncy castles and one ride available for kids. The animals were OK to look around but apart from that It was boring... Also, it was raining and wet for much of the day and we initially wanted to check if the festival was postponed, but nobody answered my calls or got back to my voicemail despite numerous attempts. I would have expected a postpone for the toddler festival or offer a refund/exchange to those who pre-booked. The food offered also looked poor and not good enough for kids - there was literally nothing healthy on the menu, all ultra processed food. The toys sold were far too expensive. It was my first but I certainly wouldn't visit here again all the way from Edmonton with my child. Other frustrated mums reached out to me on social media asking if the festival was still happening as their calls hadn't been answered. At the entrance we were told to 'give it a go' despite expressing our frustration. It's a shame the whole experience was definitely not worth spending PS25 on (two people, one toddler) and we came back home both muddy and hungry as the food was so bad.
Really great day out enjoyed by adults and small children, lots to do and see and all included in the, price. A fine day out and great value. We particularly liked the range of animals with meer cats the favourite. The rides were fun but a word of caution if it is hot bring socks for little ones as the balloon trampoline is, very hot, also bring a change of clothes if you want to get involved with the foam party! A special shout out to the woman with the bunches who led the singing and dancing, you were excellent. Good value and a lovely place to visit
Lovely little farm! We enjoyed our day and was able to feed the goats. We saw different animals including ponies, donkeys, meerkats, cows, turkeys, turtles and also rabbits. The farm also has play areas for little ones inside and outside. They also have a few fun rides for kids to enjoy too! There are also cute animal toys in the shop to buy.
Absolutely love coming here with my kids...such great family days out with lots to see and do! Love the addition of the mini golf and outdoor adventure playground! Can't wait to visit again!
Don't bother, we went there today and it looks like no one can be bothered maintaining it anymore! Loads of the animals enclosures are empty, shut off look like it's falling down. I mean, I take it the grounds keepers have quit because it just looks so unkept and scruffy. I came here about 3 years ago with one of my grandkids and it was great, not anymore. Hardly any animals, not a great deal to see or do and the onsite cafe has very little to choose from, so if you do still decide to go, take your own food and go with very low expectations. Gutted.
