Travel from a medieval queen's room to the 1920s, plus gardens, golf, zip slides & falconry.
I recently stayed at Leeds Castle for a friend's wedding, and it was an experience I'll never forget. The rooms were absolutely amazing spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. It felt like staying in a piece of history with all the modern comforts. The wedding arrangements were top-notch, with every detail meticulously planned. The setting was perfect, adding a magical touch to the entire event. The food, from the wedding dinner to breakfast the next morning, was outstanding. Everything was delicious, and the breakfast spread was especially impressive. One of the highlights of my stay was exploring the castle itself. There's so much to see and do, from wandering through the stunning gardens to discovering the rich history within the castle walls. It's an enchanting place that offers something for everyone. Overall, Leeds Castle provided an unforgettable experience, blending history, luxury, and exceptional service. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay!
Wow! What a great place. Visited there while on holiday. Spent 5 hours there and could have spent more. Garden and grounds are good - lots for adults and children to see. Castle was good - would recommend the audio tour to learn about the history of the place. Birds of prey was good. The maze was interesting - apart from a member of staff who showed us the way. Lots of places to buy food - and snacks. Visitor shop well stocked.
What a great place to come to spend the whole day for everyone at all ages. The grounds are immaculate and so well kept with lots of different trails etc. a very large play area for kids with a lovely little beach setting. Nice mini put golf which is very fun and a maze that keeps you guessing and is lots of fun. The castle itself is steeped in history and so much to learn and is well kept with lots of knowledgeable staff. The grounds are just beautiful you can easily spend the whole day here and more. There's also a train and boat journey that is so much fun. One of the very best castles in the whole of the U.K
What a fantastic place to visit. The gardens are beautiful, the castle just the right size to walk around, the road train is a great addition, the children's activity areas are great, the maze confusing, plus we were treated to a birds of prey display. All in all, a great day out, and definitely worth another visit, which is handy when your entry ticket is valid for a year.
Leeds Castle is stunning! I absolutely enjoyed this Castle, we have been to many Castles and this in my opinion was one of the best. I loved how they did the audio walk around. Everyone was lovely who worked there. We loved it!
We came for an overnight stay. The Castle is well worth a visit. It's set in beautiful, well kept grounds. The Castle is very well kept, clean and quite spacious. My wife has mobility issues, so we couldn't climb any stairs in the Castle. We saw enough of history and how the other half live. There are interactive guides, toilets and a shop.. If you have mobility issues you may struggle, parts of the ground are a little hilly. We didn't get the boat across the lake because where you landed, was at the bottom of a hill, and difficult for some people to walk up to the attractions. You can walk to the attractions, but the walk is up a hilly pathway. The day parking is near to the entrance, it is a long walk to the Castle, you can ride the Land Train to the Castle. Plenty of toilets, and places to get food and drink. All the Guides in the Castle, were very knowledgeable, friendly and polite.
