There isn't much by way of flowers or trees but as a basic park it serves its purpose.
A pleasant place for families to spend some time with plenty of space for the children to run around, but there is no play equipment. A lovely route, for walkers and cyclists, from Ashton New Road to the Heather Avenue/Sandy Lane area of Droylsden, continuing to the Velodome at Eastlands, away from the main road, with various turn off paths for other areas.
As one of the few areas of green in Droylsden, this is great, for dogwalkers and schoolkids alike. A breath of fresh air.
