The hall's opulent interior features intricate plasterwork, ornate furnishings, and exquisite decorative arts. Stroll through the beautifully landscaped gardens, which include a tranquil lake, a woodland walk, and a variety of plant species.
The tour is highly recommended and very interesting, providing great insights into the history of the Leith family. A very beautiful place.
Beautiful place to visit, nice walks whatever the season. The walled garden often has produce or plants to buy. Outdoor events are also held in the grounds, children's activities, outdoor theatres, so it's worth checking the website. The staff are friendly, and the cafe serves delicious food when it's open over the weekends. The is car parking close to the hall, and lots of paths and trails both short and easy and a little more lengthy. There are toilets on site too.
A really interesting guided tour, fascinating history, great cafe and gluten free food. We went early in the year and the gardens were beautiful but not yet in flower. We are definitely going back for more.
