Leybourne Lakes Country Park is a popular venue with cyclists, walkers and water sports enthusiasts alike. There's an exciting calendar of events including holiday activities, wildlife days, nature walks and a schools' activity programme. Covering an area of 230 acres, the Park features a diverse tapestry of habitats, including lakes, wildflower meadows, wetlands, hedgerows and scrub and provides perfect wildlife watching opportunities year round. There are plenty of facilities on offer: walking routes and guided trails for visitors of all abilities, a play area close to the Refuel Cafe and a watersports centre. The popular Refuel Cafe is open 9am to 6pm (Apr-Sept) & 9am to 4pm (Oct-Mar). See website for Park's seasonal opening times.
Very nice country park. Lots of room. You can relax or go for a long walk. Great cafe and car park wasn't expensive. Definitely go again.
Very well maintained country park, arrived early but no ice cream or sandwiches in the cafe, and no fresh ice latte unfortunately. An interesting and affordable water sports experience, with sit on top kayaks and paddle boards. Lots of wild swimming locations here. Overall very good experience and definitely worth a visit, just bring lunch!
Beautiful park. Great for riding bikes and just having a stroll . Really enjoyed the scenery. Lovely cafe with toilets with delicious ice-cream.
Lovely park to visit. It's a dog friendly park and has awesome views. I will be going there again.
Nice country park, good routes to fill your time and make the most of travelling there. Parking was easy enough (used auto park app not Ringo) and the cafe is worth a stop at the end for a hot drink somewhere clean!
Our first time visiting and we had a lovely time. Lovely large car park. The play area wasn't too far from the car park. Good range of play equipment in the play park for younger and older kids. Picnic benches inside the middle of the play park and benches. Just outside the play park were some wooden play animals. Haven't been on a proper walk yet but looking forward to a revisit.
