First visit to the castle and grounds. Very interesting place to visit. The staff were very helpful and informative. I enjoyed walking around the castle walls and looking out over the views of Lincoln. The Victorian prison inside the walls gave an insight into a prisoner's life.

Great place to visit. Our guide on the walking tour was Daniel Phillips. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the castle and was a great communicator. The prison was well worth a visit. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Recommended definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful place to see. 6h was not enough time to enjoy the day at the castle. The prison have so much History to tell. The guide people were so friendly and happy to explain more of what happened last. Please go and pay a visit to this beautiful place.

Great place to visit if you love history, especially when hosting a special event. Images feature world cup screening and the jousting championships. Lincoln Cathedral right next door. Entry free, except during ticketed events. Some special features are chargeable. Tea room and lavatories on site. Annual pass available allowing access to all areas except on ticketed event days. What an amazing place!!! There is a wonderful walk around the castle walls and you can even have a headset which gives you audio tour and history. The staff are very helpful and friendly and are always on hand too help you. Be warned though....you need a good head for heights which I don't have and only just made it round the castle walls with help!!! The prices were brilliant A much recommended day out!!!

Amazing. For the ticket price you get way more than almost any other heritage site in the UK. Definitely do the walking tours that leave at the top of most hours. Wall walk and prison are included in the ticket. Ann was an incredible tour guide if you happen to get her.
