Wow should be the start to any post for the cathedral. You really need to visit in person to appreciate the architecture and the level of detail applied years ago during its construction using very basic tools... today's builders visit and learn by fair few tips Make sure you go through to the rear of the cathedral, much bigger than it seems and each wall looks the same from a distance but when close up you'll see that each is different with specific staining

Had a great visit to Lincoln. We visited the Cathedral. What a wonderful time we had looking at the lovely stained glass windows. Taking time to reflect and look at the wonders of the architecture. The shoo is good and have a wonderful cafe.

What a truly remarkable & fantastic building, steeped in history, a must see if your in Lincoln. The architecture was outstanding, hearing the organ play was superb. It was definitely worth the money. The surrounding area leading up to the cathedral was beautiful, lots of lovely independent quaint little shops. It was definitely worth the walk up Steep Hill.

Really impressive and well worth a visit! We joined the guided Roof Tour, which is really fascinating, as not only does it give you a glimpse of the architecture of the timbered roof, but also an incredible view down the nave, as well as outside views onto the castle, the town and its surroundings! Up there, under the roof, one can also see a wooden model of the cathedral, showing what it would have looked like with its spires still intact, and when it was the highest building in the entire world!

A beautiful cathedral, looks fabulous high on the hill as you drive to it. The doorways are very ornate. It has a Father Willis organ and don't forget to look for the Lincoln Imo
