This museum showcases the history and heritage of Liskeard and its surrounding areas, featuring exhibits on the town's mining, agricultural, and industrial past. The museum is housed in a beautiful Grade II listed building, which was once the town's police station. The exhibits include artifacts, photographs, and interactive displays that tell the story of Liskeard's people, places, and industries. Visitors can explore the town's history from prehistoric times to the present day, including its role in the Cornish mining industry and its significance as a market town.

Very cute little local museum. Lots of fun facts in here. Loved seeing all the vintage children's toys. And the very random Darlek! They have a very cool 1950s and 60s section at the moment where they are recording peoples memories from the local area.
We came up from Looe to Liskeard by train specifically to visit the museum. It is a fascinating place to visit for both the local history and the nostalgia. Found the toy exhibition most interesting to look at. The staff were very friendly and polite. This is a place I would highly recommend a visit. No admission charge. Accessibility: full wheelchair access, autism friendly - low stimulation at time of visit. Great visit.
Do not visiting. Male member of staff has an unhealthy interest in little girls. Stay away. Had to leave as male staff member would not leave my little girl alone.
Three floors. Old school local museum with some nice photos and displays of local activities. Also big display of toys and rather odd medical display. Fine for 30 minutes. little shop & toilets also.
Great Museum to wonder around and do a little shop at the Tourist Information centre downstairs
Nice little museum with lots of interesting exhibits.
