It's a great, mainly flat walk through woodland .There are a few steps but manageable ,we walked just over 2 miles
Apparently because not a lot of children go on bikes dogs get right away and don't need to be on a lead. I took my son on his new bike this morning and off the track we were on a flat bit practicing when X2 black dogs came running at us. No owner in site, so while I am trying to get the dogs away one knocks my nervous son off his bike. Yes she apologised but seriously keep the things on leads it's a public right away and my son has as much right if not more as a human to practice his bike riding
Pleasant walk through woodland. Ideal walk with, or without dog.
This is a fantastic spot of wooded land. Great walks on the doorstep of Oulton Park race circuit. Plenty of great routes to take. Use as a base to explore more paths or make interesting circular walks. A nice accessible place with a smallish car park. Our Pup loves the place.
Lovely meeting place for me and my son as midway between North Shropshire and Liverpool. Nice clear trails to follow. Free car park and loos too.
Nice open woodland and heathland with reasonable paths. Good for dog walking but be aware that horses may be encountered. Toilet facilities at the car park
