Little Bumbles Forest School HQ is a unique outdoor education center nestled in the heart of a beautiful forest in the United Kingdom. The school offers a range of nature-based activities and courses for children and adults, focusing on forest skills, bushcraft, and environmental education. The center's surroundings provide an immersive and hands-on learning environment, allowing visitors to connect with nature and develop new skills.
Little bumbles has been our weekly dose of fun, nature, connection, craft, fire, friends and sometimes mud for over 2 years. We adore our time there, its the highlight of our week. The range of activities Claire puts on is wonderful and varied and she tailors it to those attending, my 2 boys love to dig and sure enough some diggers and dumpers arrived! Coming week after week really benefits us all, the boys have flourished and grown in what they now see as their space, they love to explore it all. More than that I have also found my 'village', the group is wonderfully caring, welcoming and friendly and I have made such an amazing group of friends from it. I can't reccomned little bumbles enough, I just wish everyone could experience it.
Little Bumbles is a perfect antidote to busy weeks and modern disconnect. Although we don't manage to visit often due to that exact busy working week, when we can make a pop-up my toddler and I feel the benefits of the session and often talk about the experience for a long time afterwards - mostly recently the smooth fire-warmed stones (kindly offered to heat our cold hands!) and toasted sugar waffles have been key in our winter roleplay games. The LB location is beautifully arranged and so welcoming, with curated seasonal activities. Claire has a lovely approach with the grown-ups and the little ones. Heartily recommended for fellow nature-connection seekers!
Little Bumbles was a weekly staple for me and my son for the best part of 3 years. We were there through the changing seasons of nature and our life. My son enjoyed the forest, the activities and the friends that he made there, but for me it was even more than that. Some weeks the forest was what my soul needed, and that was supported by wonderful people and connection. I miss it terribly but will forever look back at it as one of the best parts of my child's early years. Thank you Claire! Xx
Little Bumbles is such a gem, and has provided us with so much fun and learning in a relaxed an nurturing environment. In our house we call it 'the fire in the woods', and the short winding walk through the woods to the fire each week, noticing the changes of the seasons, always feels like an adventure and has remained magical. There are always lots of activities and crafts available, but such a lovely change from many groups to have no pressure to do anything. Our daughter first attended at about 20 months, and although she can't now attend regularly due to starting school it remains one of her very favourite places.
This is an absolutely amazing place to be. Claire is always so welcoming and the pop up sessions we go to are always fun and new. We love going!
Excellent. Loved by kids and parents.
Getting tickets in advance recommended
