A secluded cove surrounded by towering cliffs and lush greenery, Little Perhaver Beach is a tranquil retreat on the Cornish coast. The beach's soft, golden sand is lapped by crystal-clear turquoise waters, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. At low tide, the beach reveals hidden rock pools and ancient fossils, while at high tide, the sea covers the beach, creating a picturesque scene. The surrounding cliffs are dotted with wildflowers, adding a splash of color to the serene atmosphere.
Worth the steep walk it needs to visit this beach. Though it is small, it has got it all - sandy, secluded, beautiful! We walked to this place from youth hostel that is a mile away from here. Highly recommended beach if you like no crowds.
We visited here today as a family of 4 plus a dog. Once we'd managed to get ourselves down the mega steep steps this beach was absolutely amazing. Hugely recommended to anyone thinking of visiting!!
This beach, though not as big as Gorran Haven is soft golden sand. To access it you need to take the public footpath that runs beside the church then about 30 steep steps with a handrail. These steps are good quality but tough going if you are not too agile. You can see the steps in my photo'.
Steep steps down to a beautiful tranquil beach shelter by high cliffs.
Great Beach just over from the main beach.Just like the main beach it's a low sloping beach with plenty of soft sand and shallow depth water for the kids. Some Top Tips. 1. Head towards Great Perhaver beach at low tide. Some great rock pools for the kids and a great cave to explore. 2.Great amounts of sea treasure in sea glass. 3.The better beach for body boarding for the kids. 4.Keep an eye on the incoming tide if you don't want to use the stairs at the back of the beach (very steep).
Nice small beach which we had pretty much to ourselves when the adjacent beach was absolutely packed. You do have to go down some very steep stairs though so maybe not for everyone!
Good for kids
