Welcome to Llandegfedd Visitor and Watersport Centre in Monmouthshire set in the beautiful, rolling landscape alongside the Usk Valley, just twenty miles from Cardiff. Our Visitor Centre has stunning, panoramic views and our modern, purpose built Watersport Centre offers paddle and sail sports for all ages and abilities plus organised open water swimming. An array of land activities and events are also available. Llandegfedd Lake is also a great place to fish, walk, picnic and watch wildlife. A truly dog-friendly place to visit, our four-legged friends are welcome in our Grab & Go coffee shop on the ground floor of the Visitor Centre and on the upstairs cafe balcony.
Great lake for watersports, so many different activities and opportunities available Unfortunately you have to pay to swim and use your own vessels on it but they provide life guards and safety boats which is good. Nice walks around the perimeter too.
Lovely lake and visitor centre, we have been here for walks several times and also paddle boarding once. Nice place to see nature especially lovely birds enjoying the water. You have to pay for parking which is done by numberplate recognition, I think the first hour is free and you have to pay at the machine.
Wow, a beautiful place to visit with the family. If you're into trekking, go past the bbq areas and past the gold course. There is a little treasure at the end which the kids will love.
Great place for long or short walks. Has a cafe & watersports centre. Plenty of parking spaces.
Beautiful place but keep in mind that the carpark gates get locked around 5pm if you want to park there and go for a hike.
In parts the circular walk is very poorly maintained. I would wear long trousers to cope with nettles.
