The castle built by Romans, fortified by the Normans, is now, a well kept ruin on a hill that is accessible for those willing to hike. Great for the kids to be mindful of, what was, when looking down. There are picnic tables at on the same level of the statue of Llywelyn ap Gruffydd Fychan, giving good views of the children's park and its surrounding car park.
An interesting little landmark in a beautiful little market town! Lovely craft shops, pubs and friendly locals!
