A tranquil and picturesque river flowing gently through the Welsh countryside, its serene waters reflecting the surrounding rolling hills and lush greenery, providing a peaceful atmosphere and a haven for wildlife.
Bring a blanket and have a cocktail in the sun! Kids will be skimming stones and a nice family friendly area. Bring some sunscreen on sunny days as not too much shade, besides the trees. This river is quite pebbly, not any ducks around here. Toilets available if your brave.
Lovely river great place to take the kids when it's a nice day there is a nice pub in the other side of the bridge they do nice food and beer there's also a little post office for your essentials very nice place for a day out at the river on a hot day
Quaint little Riverside. We stayed in a lovely Holiday Cottage within the village. Beautiful. Post office village shop a playground. Plenty of walks. We had a picnic on the lovely picnic benches. It was so nice. Public conveniences too. Although take your own toilet wipes and hand sanitizers.
Lovely place but can get busy and the best spots will be gone. Be forewarned that on the field side there are a lot of nettles around the trees but the doc leaves are aplenty. Enjoy with the family and the kids will make some new friends for the day
Great area for picnics. Two Excellent eateries & a local shop in the village. Please make a point of supporting them
Beautiful little village, nice little pub over the bridge, so on the main road, petrol station not to far away very peaceful, friendly locals
On-site services
Good for kids
