We tried horse riding for the first time and we loved it! Horses are very well trained and we went for a 2h trip even though we were beginners. The views were stunning, so it is another advantage. Instructors are really nice. We will definitely come again once we will be back in the area.
We came to Llangorse to make use of the indoor climbing facilities - specifically top rope and bouldering. We were not disappointed! Friendly staff - quick registration and excellent, large indoor climbing areas. Highlight would be The Pit which offers a natural 'outdoor' rock face inside! The bouldering rooms are also well set up and have plenty of problems at a variety of grades - enough to keep us happy for a few hours. Kit hire was available too - which was great as we were visiting whilst on holiday and didn't have our own kit with us. There's a cafe on site too. Can't speak for the rest of the centre - but we'll come climbing here again next time we're in the area.
I took the kids here back in April 2022. The staff were very friendly, helpful and patient with the kids. They tried the indoor climbing taster and coaching session and absolutely loved it. My then 6 year old was apprehensive but wanted to join in at the same time with her big brothers she has additional needs as all the kids do but the staff were so patient and accommodating with her and she had a fab time climbing the walls, bouldering and doing the very high course. I also brought her back herself the following day for a little horse riding and we both went on a little hack. She absolutely loved little conker. The price was very reasonable and well worth it to see the kids happy faces. If we are back down that way we will definitely return.
Myself and my family went for a lovely 1 hour pony trek with Llangorse. The guide was very knowledgable and we felt very well looked after. As less experienced riders we appreciated the experienced hands and guidance, thank you.
The website gives the impression that the climbing facilities are mainly for children but in reality it is an amazing centre for climbers of all abilities. Some holds are a bit old and have lost their friction, but the phenomenal setting makes up for this! I've included pictures of the basement training area as there are no pictures online that I could find that does it justice!
